My Everyday

My Everyday was a collaboration with Inverness Highland Hospice’s Therapeutic Arts Co-ordinator to develop and exhibition from an ‘art in a bag’ project. It intend to expand the benefits of the art room experience within the hospice to hospice users and staff across the region. It was developed and produced in January / February of 2020 for a spring launch and postponed due to the pandemic.

The My Everyday project aimed to celebrate everyday actions that contribute to our wellbeing. Everyone has their own routine, habits or rituals that contribute to the day.  A cup of tea before rising, listening to a particular radio programme, making a phone call, reading the newspaper or a particular daily walk.

Participants were invited to create an image and accompanying words, to depict part of their daily routine that added to their wellbeing experience of the day.
